1. Do all your bath bombs contain magnesium?

Yes. To improve the relaxation effects of our bath bombs, we add magnesium in concentrated amounts. Magnesium can be absorbed transdermally. It reduces stress, improves sleep quality, relaxes muscles, and improves skin barrier function. Therefore, we find it an essential component of every bath bomb.

2. Are synthetic colorants or dyes used in your colourful bath bombs?

Absolutely no synthetic dyes, colourants, preservatives, or fragrances are used in the production of our bath bombs. We are a paraben, phthalate, SLS, and fragrance-free.

3. How does aromatherapy work? Will the essential oils benefit me?

Aromatherapy functions by stimulating olfactory receptors through the inhalation of volatile organic compounds found in essential oils, which can modulate neurochemical pathways affecting mood and homeostasis. When these aromatic molecules are inhaled, they interact with the limbic system, particularly the amygdala and hippocampus, potentially attenuating stress responses and promoting parasympathetic nervous system activity. 4. Do you have any products good for eczema?

Yes! For anyone suffering from eczema or psoriasis, we recommend our Vanilla Cocoa Dream bomb. This is our most lightly-fragranced bomb. With ingredients such as organic colloidal oatmeal, coconut milk powder, and cocoa butter, this bombs is highly soothing and moisturizing--ideal for those with sensitive skin. 

5. Do your bath bombs cause UTIs? 

No, unlike most bath bombs on the market, ours are natural, and unlikely to cause UTIs. That means they do not contain the artificial fragrances and dyes that often irritate the sensitive skin around the genital area. Our bath bombs are also PH-balanced, lowering the risk of UTIs substantially.

6. What is a shower steamer?

An aromatherapy shower steamer is a small tablet made from natural ingredients like baking soda, citric acid, and essential oils. When you place it in your shower, the steam from the hot water makes it fizz and release a pleasant aroma. This fills your shower with a soothing scent that can help you relax, reduce stress, and even relieve congestion. It's like having a mini-spa experience right in your own home! Simply place the steamer away from the direct water flow, and enjoy the calming benefits of aromatherapy during your shower. If you prefer an intense sensory experience, place the steamer in the direct flow of water.

7. Why are your products 95% organic? What's the difference?

Our products are 95% organic because we believe that whenever possible, it is best to buy organic, for the benefit of both people and the planet.

Organic ingredients--including the essential oils and butters we use-- are farmed without synthetic pesticides, limiting their exposure to chemicals that aren't naturally found in the environment. This in turn limits the potential trickle-down-effect to humans. We believe that research is slowly catching up to the impacts of pesticides, and we prefer to take a precautionary approach.

Organic farming offers several environmental benefits. It promotes soil health through practices like composting and crop rotation, which reduce erosion and enhance biodiversity. Organic methods also protect water sources by avoiding the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers that can contaminate water supplies. Additionally, organic farming tends to be more energy-efficient and can help mitigate climate change by sequestering carbon in soils.

Not all our ingredients can be farmed organically, but nearly all of our ingredients are from organic farms.

8. What is the shelf-life of your products?

At Bloomin' Bliss, we do not use any synthetic preservatives or fragrances, relying on natural preservatives and essential oils instead. Therefore, our ingredients have a shorter shelf life, and we recommend you indulge when you have the opportunity!

Bath bombs are best used within two months of purchase.

Shower steamers & remedies are good for six months provided they are stored in the provided jar with lid tightly closed.

Face masks are good for one year from date of purchase.

9. Can I return or exchange my purchase?

We stand by the quality of our products and aim for 100% customer satisfaction. Please contact us at bloominblissbath@gmail.com should you have any concerns. Products must be 75% unused and in original packaging for a refund. Please contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

10. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We process our orders immediately and ship out every Wednesday. Most orders arrive within 3-10 days of purchase, depending on where you are located.
