PILLAR 1: 100% Natural, 95% organic ingredients
Both good for people and the planet, our wholesome, natural ingredients, free from parabens, phthalates, SLS, glitter and other skin & planet-damaging elements, nourish the body while protecting fragile aquatic ecosystems disrupted by forever chemicals and micro-plastics.
PILLAR 2: Biodegradable, 95% plastic-free packaging
Unlike many bath and shower products on the market, ours are packaged to avoid plastic, and to encourage composting. Our bath bombs, for example, are never packaged in plastic and always packaged in compostable materials.
PILLAR 3: Design with the end in mind. Encourage upcycling and recycling.
We encourage the re-use of our glass and aluminum packaging with our return program. Customers in Edmonton can return their glass jars and aluminum bottles for re-use and receive 10% off their next purchase in return. In this way, we minimize landfill waste and give new life to reusable containers.
PILLAR 4: Donate & give back. With each purchase, donate to conservation efforts.
By partnering with Greenspark, Bloomin' Bliss Bath & Spa Works is happy to join worldwide efforts to reduce plastic in the oceans. Each purchase you make removes four plastic bottles from the ocean and gives work to struggling women. Specific purchases, such as the purchase of our face masks help reforest kelp off the coast of British Columbia, Canada, an important initiative to fight climate change and maintain marine biodiversity.
PILLAR 5: Choose more sustainable ingredients.
Wherever possible, at Bloomin' Bliss we choose the most sustainable ingredients, including organic, natural ingredients. When choosing between two options--for example, mango butter or commonly used coconut oil-- we choose the more sustainable mango butter. By choosing the more sustainable alternatives that are drought resistant and promote local biodiversity, we know our products are making an impact.
